Last night Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey celebrated their one year anniversary in Las Vegas. Now everybody needs to give the two of them their props, becasue everybody was all over their backs when they first got married and look at them now. What really made the night special was when Nick showed a slideshow of the two of them from their past year together, and Mariah began to cry.

So it was announced recently that Kelis filed for divorce with rapper Nas. The two have also concieved a child together which will be their first. Kelis is now 7 months pregnant with the infant and now they are headed for divorce. Now let me just say something… Poor Baby

Beyonce was spotted last night at the premiereof her new movie Obsessed. Along with fellow co-satr Idris Alba and other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, Russell Simmons, and no other than Mama Knowles herself. I have npt seen the movie quite yet but plan on going to se it some time soon and will be coming with a review.

Jennifer Hudson, after taking a break from work since her mother and brother were murdered in October, was set to begin shooting the video for her next single “If This Isnt Love”. Hudson was set to shoot the video before the tragedy but put it off because she was unable to work due to her conditions.

P. Diddy’s rendition of Lorraine Hansberry’s classic A Raisin in the Sun, has been nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture. Looks like Diddy can actually do something right.

With 450,000 units pushed Kanye West hold the #1 Billboard spot with his new Album ‘808’s and Heartbreak’. The new sound from Ye is hott a lot of people were not expecting this from him but Ye is an innovator for music and people are really getting to see that. I don’t know if his arrogance will cloud his future success. This was not his best debut but this is his 3rd #1 album.

Our boy Lil Wayne has received great success from ‘The Carter III’ now the music industry has shown him love with 8 Grammy nominations. This may just be the the year for Wayne… I think he will pick up 4-5 Grammys.. In other news Coldplay comes in second with 7 nominations. Jay Z, Ne-Yo and Ye all received 6 nominations.

Plies new album ‘Da Realist’ will be released December 16th…  Plies is one of the rappers that I enjoy listening to he has the ability to stay true to his people, but at the same time he has commercial success.
